Humans are Flawed
a poem by Hannah Bailey
you cannot trust human divination to decide
who gets to live versus who gets to die
humans are flawed, torn up canvases
any wisdom we have is constantly fragmented
emotions run high and carelessness goes deep
humans are flawed, running on battery sleep
the mind and the heart do not work well with one another
it is not our choice to decide who becomes what or whoever
humans are flawed, easily swayed by the weather
we cannot expect mankind to decide
anyone's purpose, who lives, and who dies.
