Hannah R. Bailey (she/her) is a poet & artist located in Ohio, USA. Her writing is an expression and exploration of chronic illness, mental health, family dynamics, trauma, love, & more. She has been previously published in a handful of poetry anthologies through Creative Communication and is currently working on an entire collection of her own works to hopefully be published sometime around late 2023-early 2024.
With the exception of a handful of art and poetry classes taken from members of her home-school community as a child, Hannah is entirely self-taught. Her works, both writing and art, are never meant to be an act of perfection but rather simply an expression of self and sometimes a commentary on the world around her.
When not writing, drawing, painting, or making mixed media pieces, Hannah enjoys spending time with her partner, friends, siblings, and pets, choreographing dances, watching animated television shows, and learning about fashion, social justice, and more. Her main sources of inspiration are artists like Frida Kahlo, poets like @birdsofsin and @peacetreepoetry (found on Instagram), and lyricists like Lorde.
